“Faced with the possibility of her son Nicholas dying from intractable epilepsy, Dr. Jennifer Anderson, a Canadian physician and single mother of three, decides to treat her own child with cannabis. With the treatment, Nicholas goes from 3-4 seizures an hour, and in a near catatonic state, to playing with his twin brother and older sister, participating in life, and no longer needing emergency admissions to hospital.”

REPAIR UP THERE is a short documentary film that follows a group of Wind Turbine Blade Repair Rope Access Technicians that travel around the world and by utilizing Rope access repair wind turbine blades.

This short documentary follows one crew as they complete a fiberglass repair on a wind turbine for Invenergy on a wind farm in Snyder Texas.

April 27, 2022 - Filmmaker Dae Ryun Chang (WE CAN DREAM & CALL COHO)

Dae Ryun Chang’s short film WE CAN DREAM was voted Best Documentary at the LA Feedback Film Festival.

April 4th 2022 - Filmmaker Joan Dwiartanto (CRYING ON THE ISLAND THEY OWN)

CRYING ON THE ISLAND THEY OWN was the winner of BEST FILM at the March 2022 Dance Film Festival.

Joan Dwiartanto is in her fourth and final year as a Dance major at The Juilliard School. She has taken a keen interest in Dance filmmaking and wishes to continue creating movement for film. Other than creating her own short films, Joan has worked closely with principal dancer of American Ballet Theatre James Whiteside in creating his own Ballet film Marilyn’s Funeral in 2021. And she has worked on a film as a co-dircector alongside director Maggie Scranton representing Juilliard in the Park Avenue Armory’s virtual film event 100 Years | 100 women.

A child transforms a desolate vacant lot into her playground, not for idle play, but for a contest with herself—serious, urgent, and mystical. Her actions bring her to uncanny intersections with a musician, whose ferocious efforts on the glockenspiel are strangely entangled with her own games. (The score is a movement from the double-Grammy-nominated album Seven Pillars.

This Episode, "200+ Years: American Women Fight & Rise," serves as the introduction to the online DocuSeries "Stand UP, Speak OUT: The Personal Politics of Women's Rights" about the impact of the mid-20th century expansion in women's rights, and the hard-won freedom, independence, and opportunities at risk today. The Series continues with two more episodes: "Equal Pay for Equal Work" released May 2020 and "Voting Rights: From no vote to suffrage in 1920 to voter suppression in 2020, and why we still must fight for our right to vote," released November 2020. Reproductive Rights, currently in production, will be launched March 2022. Future episodes to be released in 2023/2024 will address such topics as: To Marry Whom We Love, or Not at All, Freedom from Sexual Harassment and Affirmative Action.
