October 20th 2020 - Feature Film Q&A - MENTALLY AL Comedy Documentary (Producer Daniel Marino)

Interview takes place minutes after the showcase of the feature documentary MENTALLY AL at our Saturday night Virtual Film Festival, Matthew Toffolo chats with Producer Daniel Marino.

Daniel comments on his reactions to the audience’s reactions on his feature film. Mentally Al is just beginning its festival run, which will be a great success as this is a great comedy doc.

Near the end of the interview Matthew also chats with Daniel about growing up with a famous father who was always in the spotlight in South Florida.

63 years ago today the David Lean directed classic premiered.. The first of Lean’s “epic” movie series (Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago the other two).

Matthew talks about his experience watching the War film without and battles. How if effected him.

A masterpiece of filmmaker. The film still hold up today.

Bridge on the River Kwai was the winner of 7 Academy Award Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director (David Lean), Best Actor (Alec Guinness), Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Music Score. It was also nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Sessue Hayakawa)
