Get to know the filmmaker:

I have been playing tennis my whole life basically, my day job is being a tennis pro when I’m not on set and I used to compete for years and years. I remember the pressure and the headspace I was in during intense competition. Thus, I got the idea to create a character that could not be phased by something that other people think is scary because he is mentally tough.
